(Ranjandeep Sandhu, Amrik Matharoo):- After the special investigation team probing the Behbal Kalan police firing CASE of October 14, 2015, nominated the (DGP) Sumedh Singh Saini and (IGP) Paramraj Singh Umranangal as accused, the District and Sessions Judge, Faridkot, today disposed of the anticipatory bail application of Paramraj Singh Umranangal. Two days after he was nominated as an accused in the case, Umranangal had approached the court for anticipatory bail. the court disposed of the bail application in view of Punjab and Haryana High Courts order of March 7, 2019. As per the order, the High Court had issued directions to the SIT that Paramraj Singh Umranangal shall be given seven-day prior notice in case he was required for interrogation in the cases relating to police firing in Behbal Kalan
