ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਮਾਡਿਊਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ, ਭਾਰਤ-ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਰਾਵੀ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਿੰਡ ਘੋਨੇਵਾਲ, ਥਾਣਾ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਮਾਤਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਬਰਾਮਦਗੀ: 2 ਏਕੇ-ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਅਸਾਲਟ ਰਾਈਫਲਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ 8 ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨਾਂ, 1 ਪਿਸਤੌਲ (.30 ਬੋਰ) ਸਮੇਤ 2 ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨਾਂ, 50 ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਕਾਰਤੂਸ (.30 ਬੋਰ), ਅਤੇ 245 ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਕਾਰਤੂਸ (7.62 ਐਮਐਮ)

In a major breakthrough, Amritsar Rural Police busts a Cross-Border Arms Smuggling Module with links to #Pakistan and recovers a cache of sophisticated weapons from village Ghonewal, PS Ramdas, near the Ravi river close to the Indo-Pak border.
