ਸਟੇਟ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੈੱਲ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਕ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਦੇ ਸੰਚਾਲਕ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ ਟਿੱਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ, ਉਸਦੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ .30 ਬੋਰ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ ਸਮੇਤ ਜਿੰਦਾ ਕਾਰਤੂਸ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।
ਉਸਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ‘ਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਕੋਟਲਾ ਤਰਖਾਣਾ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ‘ਚੋਂ ਲਗਭਗ 2.5 ਕਿਲੋ ਵਜ਼ਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੋ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਇੰਪ੍ਰੋਵਾਇਜ਼ਡ ਐਕਸਪਲੋਸਿਵ ਡਿਵਾਈਸ (IEDs) ਵੀ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚ ਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਦਾ RDX ਅਤੇ ਟਾਈਮਰ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।
